Dear Singapore,
May I suggest that national service to be made compulsory for females. This will allow them to have the opportunity to serve and protect the country. They will only have to go through a modified basic military training whereby they will learn simple things like surviving in the wild, to use a rifle, and to perform basic duty like guard duty.
In this way, they would be to protect their love ones when the need arises.
I believe that by implementing this new program, Singaporean girls will feel the meaning of national service and the pride from wearing the super-smart green uniform.
Last but not least, they will get to experience what their father/boyfriend/husband/son have gone through. Through this, there will be a bond created in every relationship.
Hopefully, Jack Neo's 'ah boys to men' show has taught the girls not to abandon their boyfriends when they are going through this toughest period of their time.
